In a Holy Grail War, Mages, known as Masters, and their Heroic Spirits, referred to as Servants, engage in a battle to seize control of the Holy Grail, an all-powerful artifact rumored to grant any wish. Following the conclusion of the Fifth Holy Grail War in Japan, many years have elapsed. Now, omens indicate the reemergence of a new Holy Grail in the American city of Snowfield. Masters and Servants soon converge in response to these signs. Among the anomalies are a missing Servant class, seemingly impossible Servant summonings, a nation veiled in secrecy, and a city designed as a battlefield. These irregularities distort the Holy Grail War, plunging it into chaos and madness. Thus begins a spectacle of mortals and legends, manipulated to perform in a deceptive Holy Grail War.
