Erdal Tosun

Erdal Tosun (born April 9, 1963, Istanbul) is a cinema, theater, and TV series actor. He is the son of Necdet Tosun, one of the actors of Yeşilçam. His brother, Gürdal Tosun, was also an actor like himself and his father. He graduated from Beyoğlu Fındıklı High School in 1980. He started his cinema career with the film called Mine in 1981. He graduated from Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory. After graduating from Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory, he established his own theater. Later, he started working at Antalya State Theater. Finally, he played in Murathan Mungan's play named Mezopotamya Üçlemesi, and left his position at the State Theaters to join the BKM Players. In addition, he appeared in various films and TV series. He is known for his role as "Medeni Karpuz" in the series Yarım Elma, where he delivered the famous line: "Kıroyum ama para bende" (I am the buyer, but the money is with me).
