Gani Müjde

Gani Müjde (born November 27, 1959, Istanbul) is a Turkish writer, cartoonist, screenwriter, director, and presenter. He is a graduate of Güngören İzzet Ünver High School and Mimar Sinan University, Department of Cinema - Television. He is the fourth and youngest child of a migrant family from Kosovo-Prizren. During his high school years, due to his interest in cartoons, he started working at Gırgır magazine while going back and forth to the magazine's office, eventually becoming a contributor. He worked for nearly eight years in Gırgır and Fırt magazines. He also served as an editor for a while at the magazine named Laklak. Later, he left and founded the magazine Limon with a group of friends. In this magazine, he started writing regular columns under the title "Peynir Gemisi" (Cheese Ship). He established a writing and production company called Tükenmezkalem. He is married to the artist Belma Canciğer and has two children named Ece Su and Arda.
